Jaikuvision developer at your service: Yes, it might be some overload, but Im working on it. Yes, it is a bit buggy, but Im working on it. Yes, the "no messages available"-sign will show quite often, but that is actually caused by too few messages in the public timeline feed that have got correctly formatted location. Go to http://www.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/geocoder2.html and check your location. In the next update I will make "@home/work/office..."-messages pass through asweel. Thanks for the great response! And keep me updated with feature requests and bugs!
Ok, so I watched the map and names poped up and posts popped up.
I could not respond and could not read them all..
Thank you for the usefull thingy :-|
just a thought..but wouldnt it be better to have the map view further out so when a new jaiku shows up ....the map slides from one point to another instead of jumping..what do you think?

Very cool! Seeming a little slow and sticky right now though - could be because of mass traffic? But way to go ppl!

It looks like I am the only (first??) one jaikuing in China, according to jaikuvision. That feels kind of lonely... :(

@kristinheinonen But you're part of the Jaiku family! ;)

That map only shows a normal Google Map, no Jaikus, no popups, no nothing. At least not on Firefox on a Mac. :(

Getting an awful lot of "No Messages Available" screens. How often does it refresh itself?

it might also be nice to add a pause button (unless i didnt see it)...so you could stop and read or zoom in with the map control

Hmmm. Don't seem to see my own ku's. It would also be really great if I could keep it in my "near" area and wait to see who's ku-ing around me.
