I though gustomela was kidding ! Hard NOT to have heard of iphone by now :p What exactly is the difference beetween m.jaiku.com and jaiku.com ? Is it just a "lite" version of it, or are there differences in terms of features ? Just curious, and lazy to find out myself :p (PS: posted from m.jaiku.com in my regular pc browser (ie 7)

I'm actually not entirely sure, to be honest - I'd ask one of the dev folk, but they're in the middle of shifting offices or something at the moment.

I think it's mostly just a light version, designed for mobile browsers - but I'd love to be told different :)

Thanks Jaiku! I have been looking forward for this kind of a development. The original Jaiku didn't work with Nokia N800. I think this will fix the issue. Cheers!

hessuj - we'd love to get your feedback on how it works with the N800 :)

  • Elger

Am I able to change the place where I am? I can't find it.

    And what about using icons?

This works incredibly well on iPhones. It's actually incredibly fun and enjoyable. Only thing I'd like to see if an option at the bottom called Channels. That would ideally give me a line by line listing of channels - my channels - and others I can get into.

Thanks Neil - I'll make a note for the dev team :)

Elger and EllyK - it's still very new - but I'm sure we'll be adding more features to it, and I'll make sure the dev team knows you're wanting location and icon support :)

This is great ! Much better than the S60 app. I'm posting this now via my N95.

Posting working great at mobile site. But "Add comment" leads to "Sign in to add comment" which leads nowhere :(. Cannot post a comment with my N95. This from my laptop.

Kitti - interesting! Did you tick the 'remember me on this computer' when you signed in?

Mahadewa - did you? Just wondering since you both have the same phone - one happy, one not :)

Hi, Malach. In case you care about old technology, it seems to work on my Nokia 770 just fine, w/ icons! :)

It also seems to work fine on my N95, although I normally use the beta mobile client. Looks great in the S60 browser, though!

2 years, 4 months ago by jezlyn

  • Mahadewa

Malach: Yes, I did tick the 'Remember me ..' checkbox. And I am using the plain vanilla S60 Browser.

It'd better work well on iphone with all the showing off apple has done.

Web telephony just needs a few lines of info anyway, full web on portable devices is not practicle on those screens

    hessuj - thanks!

porni - Will take your feedback along to the dev team, see what they have to say.

I love it, but I've lost the ability to see the additional posts gathered in one RSS feed when I click on "Add comment". Guess I'm just going to have to abandon all those twitter Luddites...

  • maxbin

Malach - I mean java midlet, that can be installed on most mobile phone like opera mini
